Molina Healthcare of Washington and Partners Host Rain Boot Giveaway for Children in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES, Wash., Nov. 1, 2023 - Molina Healthcare of Washington, together with First Step Family Support Center, hosted “Rainy Days with Molina”, a rain boot giveaway event at the Port Angeles Main Library.
The event, open to children currently enrolled in the Parents as Teachers program at First Step Family Support Center, featured crafts, story time, and other giveaways including trick-or-treat bags, books, bookmarks, rubber duckies and more.
168 pairs of rain boots were distributed. Families could also receive assistance in obtaining a library card. Health insurance resources were also available.
Those who registered to participate but were unable to attend will have their rain boots delivered to them by their case manager at First Step.
