Some DME is vital for a members' health. Examples are oxygen or a ventilator machine. If the DME runs out or breaks, this can be very serious.

- If you are an Individual with a Special Health Care Need, and you feel that you are in immediate danger of life or limb, please call 911.
- If your DME supplies are running low, or you are having problems with your DME, call your DME company during regular office hours if possible.
- If it is after business hours, you should first contact your DME company for emergency equipment or supplies. They should have someone on call 24 hours a day.
- If it is after business hours, and you cannot get a call back from the DME company after 15 minutes, call the Molina Healthcare emergency on-call nurse. The toll free number is 1-800-580-2811. The local number is 1-505-342-4660. The answering service will ask you several questions about the emergency. They will ask you to stay on the line if possible. They will then connect you to the on-call nurse. This nurse can assist you with emergent needs.
