Nurse Advice Line


Molina Healthcare’s 24-Hour Nurse Advice Line is an innovative service available to all Molina members. The phone line is staffed around the clock by registered nurses who are available to assess the needs of members and direct them to the facility that can provide the most appropriate care for their condition.

Since it began in 2004, the Nurse Advice Line has provided convenient and immediate access to health care advice by enabling Molina members to speak directly with professional nurses in their own language, any time, day or night. The Nurse Advice Line is able to assist members in 23 different languages, including Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Korean and Arabic. Additionally, the nurses are trained to help members with physical and behavioral health care issues in a culturally sensitive manner.

Originally known as the TeleSalud, and established through a partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Nurse Advice Line today receives nearly 200,000 calls a year from Molina members across the United States. The Nurse Advice Line continues to demonstrate the patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach that has made Molina Healthcare a leader in serving the needs of a diverse population.
