To meet the CHEC (EPSDT) guidelines for the State of Utah Medicaid Program, Molina recommends well child visits including:
- history,
- measurements,
- sensory screening,
- developmental/behavioral assessment,
- physical exam,
- immunizations,
- procedures,
- and anticipatory guidance
as defined in the following recommendations.
Visits should occur at age 2-3 days (for infants discharged less than 24 hours), 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months and 24 months. Children should have annual visits after age 2 until age 20 according to federal guidelines.
