RECIPE: Pizza Meat Loaf
1 pound ground turkey¾ cup spaghetti sauce
¼ cup mozzarella cheese, from part-skim milk
½ cup green peppers, chopped
¼ cup onion, minced
- Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate with vegetable oil. Pat the ground turkey into the pie plate.
- Place the pie plate with the turkey in a 350° oven. Bake until the turkey is no longer pink. This takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Top baked turkey with spaghetti sauce, cheese, and vegetables.
- Return turkey to a regular oven or microwave oven. Heat until cheese is melted. This takes about two to four minutes.
