Should You Go To the
Emergency Room?

 

You should use the emergency room for true emergencies only. A true emergency is an injury or illness that you think could lead to death or disability. If you have a minor problem, call or visit your doctor’s office.

Read the following symptoms. Place an “E” next to those that are true emergencies. Place a “D” next to those that can be handled in a doctor’s office.

3. ____ A fever below 100 degrees Fahrenheit
