ATTENTION MOLINA HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS!

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

We want to make you aware of a change underway at Molina Healthcare of New Mexico, Inc. (Molina Healthcare).  Emdeon is now Molina Healthcare's designated EDI gateway and business Partner.

What this means for you:

As our designated EDI gateway, all EDI claims that come to Molina Healthcare must come through Emdeon.  Emdeon works with more than six hundred (600) vendor partners so you should experience no interruption in your current workflow.  Molina Healthcare and Emdeon will work with your EDI clearing house to see that they route your EDI claims to Emdeon, rather than directly to Molina Healthcare for processing and payment.

PLEASE NOTE: It is a New Mexico State regulation that ALL practitioners/providers that bill for Medicaid services bill all claims electronically. Therefore Molina Healthcare requires that ALL contracted practitioners/providers submit claims electronically.  If you are not currently billing electronically and/or need assistance with this process, contact your Provider Service Representative immediately.
