Molina Healthcare Presents $7,500 to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank in El Paso

Molina Healthcare of Texas recently presented a $7,500 check to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank in El Paso. The check is part of Molina’s continued efforts to assist area residents in need, and a larger campaign to support Feeding America in the communities where Molina serves its members.

Twenty-three percent of El Paso’s population live below the poverty line. El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank serves 200,000 residents a year who are experiencing hunger or food insecurity in Culberson, El Paso, and Hudspeth Counties. With the help of 130 partner agencies, the food bank distributes 15.5 million pounds of food a year, as well as free breakfast and lunch for children in more than 180 area schools.​
