Molina Celebrates American Heart Month with The Mitney Project

To highlight the importance of heart health during American Heart Month, Molina Healthcare of South Carolina partnered with The Mitney Project to host a “Hearts in Motion” event in Georgetown. The event kicked off with a brief cooking demonstration for local youth, where kids learned how to make nutritious snacks. The young chefs will be able to keep a measuring spoon.
Following the demonstration, children and adults participated in a free Zumba class. Participants received a yoga mat upon completion of the class and a free month of exercise classes at The Mitney Project. Molina also provided health education literature to attendees.
