Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Dozens of Adult Day Care Members for a Tour of Quinta Mazatlán

Molina Healthcare of Texas organized a unique experience for approximately 50 adult day care members that included a nature adventure tour of historic Quinta Mazatlán in McAllen. Guests enjoyed a stroll through the wildlife sanctuary, a live presentation, as well as an arts and crafts project to take home.
“Molina Healthcare of Texas is focused on improving the quality of care and life for seniors and others in adult day care,” said Juan Rivera, community engagement specialist, Molina Healthcare of Texas. “This guided nature tour provides social and sensory stimulation proven to improve mood and cognitive functions for participants who would otherwise stay at home alone.”
Quinta Mazatlán is a Spanish-revival estate converted into an urban preserve that holds over 250 species of birds, along with butterflies and wildlife habitats in sprawling tropical setting for visitors to enjoy.
