  • Competitive Benefits 

    Employees have the option to buy company stock at a 15 percent discount of the Fair Market value of the stock.

    Molina provides eight paid holidays and one floating holiday of the employee's choosing. Holidays include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day as well as half days on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

    Molina provides a Safe Harbor matching contribution of 100 percent of the first 4 percent contributed by the employee, vested immediately.

    Molina offers employees a choice of four medical plans and covers approximately 80% percent of their monthly premium (subject to plan selection and number of beneficiaries).

    Molina offers all eligible employees vision coverage through VSP (dependents may be covered for a small premium).

    Molina provides Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance at no cost to all eligible employees who work 30 or more hours per week. Employees are automatically enrolled in this coverage on the first of the month following 30 consecutive days of employment.

    Molina provides short-term disability coverage benefits to employees for a limited period of time if they are unable to work due to an illness or injury. Employees are eligible for this benefit after 30 consecutive days of employment and if they work 30 or more hours per week.

    Molina provides long-term disability coverage to employees after 30 consecutive days of employment and if they work 30 or more hours per week. This benefit provides financial assistance to employees unable to return to work after 90 days of disability due to an illness or injury.

    Molina supports the well-being of its employees by providing professional, confidential counseling services.

    Molina offers flexible spending accounts (FSAs) through Delta Health Systems - Health Care and Dependent Care - that allow employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for certain health and dependent care expenses. Employees may participate in one or both accounts (employees who select a high deductible plan are eligible to enroll in a Limited FSA).

    All eligible, full-time employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week accrue paid time off each pay period. Paid time off covers vacation, sick and personal time. Paid time off accrual is based on an employee's classification, length of service and active employment status. Molina employees begin with 18 days of paid time off per year.

    Molina encourages volunteerism and provides 16 hours per year of Volunteer Time Off to promote employee participation in building strong community partnerships and connecting with the people our company serves.

    Molina employees may earn a monetary reward for referring qualified candidates for employment opportunities within the company.

    The Mary R. Molina Education Scholarship Program awards $100,000 through up to 50 scholarships each year to dependents of regular full-time Molina Healthcare employees. Full-time student recipients receive a $2,500 award, and part-time students receive a $1,250 award.
