Molina Healthcare of Nevada and Project Marilyn Provide Feminine Hygiene Kits for Women in Need

LAS VEGAS, March 14, 2024 – In honor of International Women’s Day, Molina Healthcare of Nevada (“Molina”) recently donated over 11,000 feminine hygiene products to Project Marilyn, a Las Vegas-based non-profit whose mission is to ensure everyone has a healthy and dignified period. Molina team members then assembled 800 hygiene kits that Project Marilyn will distribute through community partnerships to women in need.
Molina Healthcare of Illinois Donates $250K to Chicago’s South Side Birth Center in Support of Maternal and Infant Health Equity

Molina Healthcare of Illinois (“Molina”), in collaboration with The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), donated $250,000 to the Chicago South Side Birth Center (CSSBC) in support of its facility that will open in 2025, and to provide resources to improve access to maternal health care for Illinois residents. The grant is part of the MolinaCares Illinois Health Equity Initiative – an investment of nearly $5 million to improve equity and health outcomes in under-resourced communities.

The MolinaCares Accord Provides Santee Sioux Nation $50,000 to Assist Members Following Tribal State of Emergency

NIOBRARA, Neb., March 6, 2024 – The Molina Cares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Nebraska (“Molina”), provided a grant to support the Santee Sioux Nation’s efforts to provide food and heat in the wake of a winter storm. The $50,000 donation will help purchase propane and food, both of which are not readily accessible on the reservation when storms hit.
