Molina Enjoys Art With Nursing Facility Residents

Molina Healthcare’s Nursing Facility Community Engagement team partnered with the McNay Art Museum to bring 15 nursing facility residents on a special art tour that was developed specifically for people with dementia. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 47 million people across the globe currently live with dementia and that number is projected to increase to 75 million by 2030.
The event included a gallery discussion and an interactive component in the art studio so the residents had a piece of art to take home with them to remember their special day. San Antonio’s McNay Art Museum is Texas’ first museum of modern art and features American and European works.
