New Dental Vendor

Effective Jan. 1, 2016, Scion Dental has replaced DentaQuest as Molina Healthcare's dental services provider. Scion will process dental claims and prior authorizations.

When you need an immediate update on your authorization request, you can rely on Clear Coverage™ to be fast and efficient. Clear Coverage™ is a web-based system that gives automatic approvals to many services. Also, the system offers real time authorization status. In the event that a service is denied, it is uploaded to the Molina Healthcare authorization system and viewed by a clinical staff member within a reasonable time frame.

Your Patients’ Medicaid Renewal Deadline

It may be time for your Medicaid and MyCare Ohio patients to renew their Medicaid eligibility. For your patients to qualify to keep their Medicaid and MyCare Ohio health benefits, they have to report their income to the County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS/JFS) every 12 months.

Molina Healthcare is now collecting National Provider IDs (NPIs) from contracted and non-contracted providers. Submit your NPI to Molina via our Provider Self-Services Portal.

New Transportation Vendor

​Molina Healthcare has a new vendor. Secure Transportation took over services provided by Logisticare for Medicaid members on Nov. 1, 2015 and MyCare Ohio and Medicare members on Jan. 1, 2016.

Don't forget to complete the referral field indicator (field 24h) on Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) claims. Your claim may be denied if this field is not complete.
