Instant Updates with Clear Coverage

When you need an immediate update on your authorization request, you can rely on Clear Coverage™ to be fast and efficient. Clear Coverage™ is a web-based system that gives automatic approvals to many services. Also, the system offers real time authorization status. In the event that a service is denied, it is uploaded to the Molina Healthcare authorization system and viewed by a clinical staff member within a reasonable time frame.

Your Patients’ Medicaid Renewal Deadline

It may be time for your Medicaid and MyCare Ohio patients to renew their Medicaid eligibility. For your patients to qualify to keep their Medicaid and MyCare Ohio health benefits, they have to report their income to the County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS/JFS) every 12 months.

Molina’s Provider Self Services has a variety of tools to simplify your transactions whether you need to check eligibility or check claim status. For more information contact Provider Services. Molina Healthcare is now collecting National Provider IDs (NPIs) from contracted and non-contracted providers. Submit your NPI to Molina via our Provider Self-Services Portal.

EPSDT Billing Requirement Update
Molina Healthcare requires the referral field indicator (field 24h) be populated on Early Periodic Screening and Treatment (EPSDT) claims. We are developing system changes to reject claims missing this information, which will be implemented in the upcoming months. 

Providers who bill for these services should begin adding this information now to avoid claims rejecting​ in the near future. Click here​ to learn more in the July Provider Bulletin - Special Edition.
