Integrated Managed Care (IMC)
IMC is a state initiative that brings together the payment and delivery of physical health, behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorder treatment) and crisis services for people enrolled in Apple Health (Medicaid), through managed care.
Molina Healthcare is proud to provide IMC services to members in Southwest WA and North Central Regions.
- Southwest Washington (Clark and Skamania counties) was the first region in Washington to adopt integrated managed care on April 1, 2016.
- Integrated Managed Care (IMC) will go-live in the North Central region (Chelan, Douglas, Grant counties) on January 1, 2018.
Behavioral Health Services Only (BHSO)
Behavioral Health Services Only (BHSO) program provides behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorder treatment) to fee-for-service Apple Health Medicaid clients. Medical services are administered through the Health Care Authority (HCA). This program is available in the same regions as IMC.
IMC and BHSO coverage includes crisis services which are covered through Beacon Health Options and can be accessed by calling (800) 626-8137 (Clark and Skamania counties) or (877) 467-4303 (Chelan, Douglas and Grant counties).
