World Day for Safety and Health at Work lands on April 28th every year and it helps raise awareness of workplace safety and health problems. At Molina Healthcare we think it is a great opportunity to evaluate your daily habits at work and make sure you’re doing what you can to be safe and healthy!
Many diseases and illnesses caused in the workplace may be due to bad health habits. Sitting at your desk and working on your computer all day may be harmful to your health. When you get a break from work, instead of grabbing a snack go for a brisk walk around or in the building. Parking your vehicle further from the office will help add more steps to your day. Join Molina Healthcare every Wednesday for #WalkUpWednesday and take the pledge to a healthier lifestyle. A ten minute walk here and there throughout the day is better for your health than doing nothing at all.
