Molina Healthcare Supports Walk for Suicide Prevention

September 18, 2022 — Molina Healthcare of Florida participated in the Miami Out of the Darkness Walk with partner The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Held nationwide, the purpose of each walk is to give participants the courage to open up about their own connection to suicide and mental illness. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers supported each other while bringing awareness to mental illness and the help available for those battling the issue.
The event began with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention volunteers giving registered participants honor beads. Each honor bead color represents a personal link to the cause and helps to identify who or what the participant supports.
