“Our commitment to the community goes beyond providing affordable health care. We are dedicated to strengthening and empowering our communities, especially for people who are most in need,” said Brandon Hendrickson, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Idaho. “During this difficult time, Molina is providing meals to our most vulnerable members to help them maintain nourishment and wellness.”

Two types of food will be available to meet members’ needs:

  • Frozen/fresh
    • Requires freezing or refrigerator storage
    • Needs to be heated to eat
    • Special dietary needs available
  • Shelf-Stable
    • May be stored in pantry (no refrigeration or freezing required)

The emergency meals can generally be approved for a period of 14 days or up to 28 days if critically indicated. The program will be available on a first come first serve basis and is subject to availability limitations.
