BOTHELL, Wash., August 26, 2025  - Molina Healthcare of Washington (“Molina”) wrapped up its 25-stop tour of the Molina MyHealth Mobile Unit, which began in April in celebration of the health plan’s 25 years of service to the people of Washington. The mobile unit participated in community events and activities with partnering organizations across the state. Molina representatives were on hand with health education information, community resources and giveaways at each location. The tour began with stops in Olympia, Aberdeen, Centralia, and Lakewood.

The latest stops included a recent event in Pierce County. At the event, held in partnership with the Multicultural Child & Family Hope Center, Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, The Bessler Center with Mary Bridge Children's, and Lindquist Dental Clinic, Molina’s mobile unit played a pivotal role in providing 15 well-child checks, administering 45 child vaccines, and conducting 25 dental screenings. In addition, 50 backpacks were distributed, and haircuts were provided to help kids prepare for the school year ahead.

The following day, the Molina Mobile Unit made its final stop on the 25-event tour, joining the Thurston County Resource Hub for a block party resource fair. Attendees included Thurston County Judge Mary Sue Wilson and Thurston County Commissioner Rachel Grant. The event, held in partnership with the Thurston County Resource Hub and Capital Recovery Center, provided a variety of services to local attendees. LifeStream Cascade Blood Bank registered 24  donors and 17 units of blood were collected, potentially saving up to 51 lives. The Molina Mobile Unit also provided physicals and telehealth services. Food, gift cards, Hepatitis-C tests, haircuts, showers and more were available to attendees. In addition, Thurston County Public Health & Social Services provided vaccines to 57 families.

“Molina has always been committed to bringing quality care to the people of Washington and improving access to care in underserved communities,” said Dr. Jay Fathi, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “We are proud to celebrate 25 years of service by teaming up with valued organizations through this mobile unit tour to improve the lives of individuals across the state.”
