Molina Healthcare of Ohio to Expand Marketplace Coverage in 2019

Molina Healthcare will expand its Marketplace service area in 2019 to include Champaign, Clinton, Fayette, Highland, Huron, Muskingum, Pickaway and Pike counties. The new counties where Molina will be offering Marketplace plans are in addition to its existing Marketplace service areas across Ohio. Molina Healthcare of Ohio also operates Medicaid and MyCare Ohio health plans serving members across the state with high quality care in partnership with a robust provider network.
“Marketplace is a natural extension of our mission to provide access to high quality, affordable health care to people receiving government assistance,” said Ami Cole, president of Molina Healthcare of Ohio. “We are excited to serve additional Ohio residents in these counties with care through the Marketplace program.”
The open enrollment period for Marketplace in Ohio begins November 1 and runs through December 15 for a membership effective date of January 1, 2019. All of Molina Healthcare’s Marketplace plans include free preventive care and easy access to a wide network of doctors and hospitals.
