The MolinaCares Accord, in Collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Michigan, Donates $5,000 to Detroit Friendship House

DETROIT, Mich. April 30, 2021The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Michigan, has donated $5,000 to Detroit Friendship House to expand the organization’s efforts to ensure a more inclusive community in Wayne County.

Funds will be used to support the Stories of Hamtramck, an intercultural initiative designed to build a community where diversity and differences are acknowledged as strengths. The program will include an Intercultural Dialogue Facilitation that will help produce meaningful interaction among participants across all nationalities.

“We cannot thank MolinaCares enough for their generous donation,” said Cathy Maher, executive director of Detroit Friendship House. “Their partnership helps to strengthen the bonds of inclusivity that advance the quality of life for everyone in Hamtramck.”
