Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin Donates $20,000 to Area Nonprofits in Response to Coronavirus Pandemic

MILWAUKEE, April 16, 2020 – Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin has committed $20,000 to five nonprofit organizations to support their work during the coronavirus pandemic.

“During this challenging time, Molina is providing financial assistance to support the critical work of nonprofit organizations working with our state’s most vulnerable populations” said Scott Johnson, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin. “Dedicated to helping support our members and employees, Molina also recognizes the partnership role we can offer Wisconsin nonprofits as they work on the frontline to serve those individuals who are in the most need of additional support.”

Molina Healthcare is providing donations to the following organizations in Wisconsin:

  • Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin
  • House of Peace
  • Salvation Army
  • Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services, Inc.
  • City on a Hill

Molina Healthcare leadership is working with its executive task force, following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and departments of health, to constantly evaluate and communicate information to its members, network providers, employees, government and community partners.

For Molina Healthcare members seeking information about COVID-19 risk factors, Molina has launched its Coronavirus Chatbot, an enhanced digital tool available on the Molina website, member portal, and mobile app.
