The LIHP is a health care coverage program for uninsured childless adults with very low income levels.

As of November 1, 2012, the Sacramento County Low Income Health Program (LIHP) began. This program is part of the state and federal government and offers health care to low-income, non-pregnant county residents between 19-64 years of age who do not have children and cannot get Medi-Cal. The Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance decides who can be part of the LIHP. Molina Healthcare of Idaho will enroll adults into the LIHP and arrange for health services. To see if you qualify for the LIHP, please call the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance at (916) 874-9238. What's covered.
