We made it to transition weekend! After many in-person and virtual information sessions, we are finally here.
UnitedHealthcare's first day of service for members will be Sunday, June 1, 2025. *Remember, BCI members that did not make a choice will be automatically enrolled with UnitedHealthcare IMPlus.
For members who are enrolled with Molina, they will stay enrolled with Molina either MMCP or IMPlus. Nothing will change for those members unless they made an active choice to enroll with UnitedHealthcare. Transitioning members have up to 90 days after June 1 to switch health plans if they choose.
Important - both Molina and UnitedHealthcare are required to honor previous Prior Authorizations for 90 days.
Members should not have to go without services during this time. Please be patient with both UnitedHealthcare and Molina as they work on entering authorizations into their systems. This is a manual process and takes time, we are working as quickly as possible.
