Molina Clinical Policies
Molina has established Molina Clinical Policies (MCP) that function as one of the sets of guidelines for coverage decisions or determinations, which are available at www.molinaclinicalpolicy.com. The MCPs are applicable to all lines of business including Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare unless otherwise indicated. MCPs are superseded by National Coverage Determinations (Medicare) or California state guidelines and requirements for the Medicaid and/or Marketplace lines of business. Molina Clinical Policies (MCPs) are used by Molina’s Medical Directors and internal reviewers to make Medical Necessity determinations and are available to providers for review.Note: These MCPs do not constitute plan authorization, nor are they an explanation of benefits.
