Utah State Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Eligibility

CHIP is always open for enrollment. You can learn more and apply through the Utah Department of Health CHIP program.

Children who may qualify for CHIP must meet income guidelines and be:

  • Under age 19.
  • Not currently covered by health insurance.
  • U.S. citizens or legal residents
You may have to pay for services that are not covered. You may also have to pay for services from providers not part of our network. If the services were an emergency, you don’t have to pay. If you need help, call Member Services.
