Stay healthy this flu season!  Get your flu shot today!

Influenza (flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year.

This year, it’s more important than ever to get vaccinated against the flu. The flu vaccine can keep you, your family, and your friends from getting the flu during the COVID-19 pandemic and help keep our hospitals from being overwhelmed. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends everyone aged six months and older to get vaccinated as early as now for the best protection through the winter months when the flu is most likely to spread.

Molina members can get their flu shot at no cost.  Contact your primary care provider, pharmacy or find a clinic event in your area.
