The Molina Nurse Advice Line is available to all participating medical groups, physicians, and Molina members 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and is staffed with Registered Nurses who are trained and available to provide expert nurse and health information. The Nurse Advice Line has bilingual Registered Nurses for English and Spanish speaking members. For other language needs, the nurses have rapid access to a language line for interpretation as needed.
When your patient calls the Molina Nurse Advice Line, the Registered Nurse will provide nursing advice to your patient regarding their physical or emotional needs, utilizing standardized clinical guidelines and nationally recognized health information resources. If needed, the Registered Nurses will assist members with locating an Urgent Care or hospital to seek immediate care. They can assist a non-contracted hospital with names of contracted facilities to transfer stable patients for admission. If a hospital needs assistance with arranging DME or discharge and home health needs, the Nurse Advice Registered Nurses will assist with a tracking number for notification.
