When can you enroll?

You can sign up, renew or change your plan during the Open Enrollment Time, which spans November 1 through January 15 each year.

You may be able to sign up at other times if you have a life event. This is called a Special Enrollment Time.

Approved life events are:

  • Getting married or entering a domestic partnership
  • Having, adopting or fostering a child
  • Moving
  • Losing health coverage
  • Losing COBRA coverage
  • Turning 26
  • Leaving a college health plan
  • Returning from active‑duty military service
  • Release from jail or prison
  • Becoming a U.S. citizen, national, or lawfully present individual
  • Changes in tax credit eligibility
