Pricing Transparency

• Molina Healthcare will now publicly disclose the rates they pay healthcare providers for specific services via Machine-Readable Files (MRF). 

• A MRF is a digital file that includes Molina Healthcare's pricing for health care services. Files are accessible but are expected to be used by providers as they may be hard to interpret.

• Please call the Marketplace Exchange or your State-Based Exchange for more information and assistance.

• These files will contain the costs for all covered services between Molina Healthcare and in-network providers. 

In-Network Rate File: The costs for all covered services between Molina Healthcare and in-network providers. 

Allowed Amount File: The allowed amounts for and billed charges from out-of-network providers.

Any historical payments to, and billed charges from, out-of-network providers.
