Affinity by Molina Healthcare plans
Affinity by Molina Healthcare offers several low-cost or no-cost plans in downstate New York. These plans include Medicaid Managed Care (MMC), Healthcare PLUS, Child Health Plus (CHPlus), and Essential Plan.
Affinity's MMC plan gives health coverage at little or no cost. It is for children and adults with low income.
CHPlus is for children under the age of 19. It helps children who do not qualify for Medicaid and have no other health insurance or access to the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP).
The Essential Plan is for people who don’t qualify for Medicaid or Child Health Plus, You must have low income. You must also not get health insurance from your job.
Healthcare PLUS is for members age 21 and older. It helps people who need care for severe mental illness (SMI) or substance use disorders (SUD).
