Your health plan has a list of covered medicines. This list is called the drug list or formulary. Doctors and pharmacists help us choose these medicines because they are safe and work well.

What the drug list covers

Senior Whole Health will usually cover a medicine on the drug list if:

• Your doctor says it is medically necessary.
• You fill the prescription at a Senior Whole Health network pharmacy or through mail order.
• You follow plan rules.

What you may pay

Your cost depends on the medicine and your plan benefits.

Some medicines need approval before you can get them. This is called prior authorization.

You may also need to try certain medicines first to treat your condition. This is called step therapy.

Save time on your prescriptions

Here are easy ways to help you manage your medicines and make fewer trips to the pharmacy:

1. Get a 100‑Day supply

Ask your doctor if you can get a 100-day supply of the medicines you take long term.
This means:

• You refill less often
• You make fewer trips to the pharmacy
• It does not cost extra

2. Use mail order delivery

You can have your medicines delivered right to your home through CVS Caremark® Mail Service Pharmacy. This can save you time and help you stay on track with your refills.
