What to do if you do not agree with an appeal decision. You have the right to ask for an Independent Medical Review (IMR). This means another doctor, who does not work for Molina, will look at your case.

Overview

You can ask the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) for an IMR if :

You asked Molina to review a decision and got a Notice of Appeal Resolution (NAR) letter saying the decision did not change
You asked Molina for an appeal more than 30 days ago and you never got an NAR letter
