Employment services are available in different ways, including:

  • Through your AHCCCS health plan
  • From Rehabilitation Services Administration/Vocational Rehabilitation (RSA/VR)
  • From community resources

Employment services are available for Medicaid-eligible individuals of all ages who are getting behavioral health or Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) services. These are services that help members get ready for or keep employment. Reach out to your behavioral health or DDD provider to learn more.

Rehabilitation Services Administration/Vocational Rehabilitation (RSA/VR) is the state employment program that offers services to those aged 14+ with disabilities to prepare for, start or keep employment. To be eligible for RSA/VA, you must:

  • Have a documented disability
  • Have a disability-related barrier that stops you from getting and keeping a job
  • Need VR services and benefit from them

Learn more at des.az.gov/services/employment/arizona_rehabilitation_services. Reach out to your local VR office (find contacts at des.az.gov/rsa_contact_information), your behavioral health provider or DDD provider to see if you may be eligible for VR services.
