Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin Supports Salvation Army’s Feed The Kids Summer Program

08/09/2022

Milwaukee, Wisc. – Aug. 9, 2022 - Employees of Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin (“Molina”) volunteered to help the Salvation Army’s Feed the Kids summer program, putting into action their commitment to the health and well-being of the communities they serve.

Together with Salvation Army volunteers, Molina employees made over 1,200 lunches that were distributed later that day in Milwaukee’s underserved neighborhoods. Thousands of children throughout the city are eligible for free or reduced at-school lunches, but those meals may be their only significant nourishment for the day. Feed the Kids provides free meals to these students and others in need of food after the school day ends.

Molina volunteers included Karissa Harnack, Javier Rivers, Alicia Govek, Joanne Swanson, Pamela Entringer, Phyllis Salley, Monica Allen, Deanna Deubig, Tiffany Taticek, and Amber Lococo.

In addition to support through volunteerism, Molina also sponsored the Salvation Army’s Annual Civic Luncheon, Love Beyond the Bases in July.
