Preparing for a storm or natural disaster

Have a “Go Bag” ready.
- Water – at least a three-day supply (one gallon per person, per day, in break-proof containers)
 - Food – at least a three-day supply of non-perishables per person
 - Portable radio
 - Flashlight and batteries
 - Cell phone and charger
 - Change of clothes
 - First aid kit
 - Mask, gloves, hand sanitizer
 - Credit card and cash (if the power is out, some places may only accept cash as payment)
 - Personal care items
 - Medicine, glasses
 
Other things to consider:
- Fill your car’s gas tank ahead of time
 - Pet care items (food and water, carrier, leash, meds, shot records, ID)
