What's Covered
We can help you if you need a ride to your doctor’s appointments or to the Pharmacy. This is for non-emergent transportation (NEMT). It is free to our members. If you need special assistance, there are wheelchair and stretcher vans available. We also cover basic life support and advanced life support transportation, when needed.
Members who do not have their own transportation may ask family or friends to take them to doctor’s appointments. Family and friends can get mileage reimbursement when taking a member to and from doctor’s appointments.
How do members get care?
Allowing more time to schedule your trip makes sure you can get the smoothest experience. We recommend members call MTM Health at (888) 298-4781 three (3) days before the trip is needed, but minimum notice is 24 hours before the trip is needed. Members are asked to be ready at least sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. For a return trip, “Will Call” may be used if the member is not sure how long their appointment will take. You can schedule repeat services when you go to the same place on a regular basis.
Mobile App - MTM Link
MTM Link gives members tools for managing nonemergency medical transportation (NEMT) services without having to call MTM Health. A text message will be sent to remind you of your appointment. You can download the mobile app by searching “MTM Link Member” on your phone’s application store. You may also click here to visit the portal to create an account and schedule your trip.
