Your Transportation Benefits
You get transportation benefits as a Molina MyCare Ohio Medicaid member. Check out your transportation benefits and get the most out of your health plan.

  • 14 one-way trips to plan-approved locations every year. This includes rides to health visits, pharmacies, and grocery stores or food banks. You can also get rides to health education visits and employment support services.
  • Unlimited transportation if you use a wheelchair.
  • Unlimited transportation if you must see a provider that is 30+ miles away.
  • Unlimited transportation if you are traveling to or from your annual Medicare wellness visit, community behavioral health, and prenatal or postpartum services.
  • Unlimited transportation if you are being discharged from the hospital.
  • Unlimited transportation if you are traveling to or from dialysis, chemotherapy, or radiation visits.
  • Unlimited transportation if you are traveling to or from a network pharmacy following a medical visit.
  • Unlimited transportation if you are traveling to or from a Member Advisory Council (Bridge2Access) meeting with our plan.

 

Emergency Medical Transportation
Molina covers emergency transportation (ambulance) services provided through the "911" emergency response system when medically necessary. Emergency services are for medical problems that so serious a provider must treat you right away.

Schedule Transportation
To schedule, cancel, or manage your transportation, call (844) 491-4761 (TTY: 711). Call any time. Call at least 48 hours before you need a ride. If you need to cancel a ride, let us know at least 24 hours before your visit. If you do not call to cancel 24 hours before your visit, the ride may count as one of your 14 one-way trips for the year.

You can also get help with transportation for certain services through the local County Department of Job and Family Services Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) program. Transportation help is limited to less than 30 miles away. Call your County Department of Job and Family Services for questions or help with NET services.
