We are excited to begin serving the Medicaid Plus population in Twin Falls beginning November 1, 2018!

Idaho Medicaid Plus is focused on community and supportive resources and community-based long-term services and supports.
Idaho Medicaid Plus is specific to Medicaid-primary services, which include:

  • Behavioral health services
  • Home and community based services under the Aged and Disabled waiver
  • Skilled nursing facility care.

Enrollment into Idaho Medicaid Plus will not affect an individuals selection of medical provider, including primary care, hospital services, outpatient therapies, prescriptions, specialists, etc. as these services are covered and paid by Medicare. An individual’s Medicare coverage is not affected by enrollment into Idaho Medicaid Plus.

Upon enrollment into Idaho Medicaid Plus, members retain providers with whom they have an existing relationship for at least ninety (90) days. The Health Plans will contact these providers to attempt to bring them into the Health Plan provider network.

  • The 1915(b) waiver will not require Medicaid beneficiaries to enroll in the MMCP. It will require enrollment into Idaho Medicaid Plus.

Idaho Medicaid established mandatory enrollment into the Idaho Medicaid Plus program starting in Twin Falls county effective November 1, 2018. 2019 Expansion into additional Idaho counties will be dependent upon successful implementation in Twin Falls county and ensuring performance and quality benchmarks are maintained.

Important Reminder:

Please notify Molina Healthcare at least 30 days in advance when you have any of the following:

  • Change in office location, office hours, phone, fax, or email
  • Addition or closure of office location
  • ​Addition or termination of a provider
  • Change in Tax ID and/or NPI
  • Open or close your practice to new patients (PCPs only)

 

Please use the Provider Information Change Form to make these changes. ​​​

Reminder: Molina is GOING GREEN. All claims need to be submitted through an EDI Clearinghouse or via Molina's Provider Portal whenever possible. Please contact our Provider Services team if you have any questions.​
