Learning Opportunity: Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework
Molina is excited to invite you or providers from your clinic to consider participation in the Protective Factors Training of Trainers opportunity this Fall. Molina is committed to prevent and buffer against the harmful effects of Adverse Childhood Events (ACEs). In continuing our efforts, we are partnering with the Children's Trust Fund Alliance to offer "Strengthening Families Protective Factors," an intensive four-week virtual training. One person from your clinic will attend one weekly five-hour training day per week and will lead a plan to apply the learnings and guide staff in implementing the Protective Factors Framework in the clinic. We will be offering a total of 25 seats for the training and will be prioritizing sponsorship for participants from: Rural Health Centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers and Child and Adolescent Health Centers and School-based Clinics.

Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR)
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has established the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) for immunization providers to record and access information regarding administered immunizations. MCIR enables authorized healthcare providers, schools, childcare programs, and pharmacies to access up-to-date immunization histories, helping reduce vaccine-preventable diseases and avoid unnecessary vaccinations.

Molina Healthcare of Michigan invites providers to an informative webinar focused on the implementations of the In Lieu of Services (ILOS) benefit for nutrition supports. This new Medicaid benefit aims to improve health outcomes by offering medically appropriate, cost-effective alternatives to traditional Medicaid services for qualifying members. Screening Brief Intervention Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Trainings
SBIRT is a comprehensive, public health approach to screen and provide early treatment and intervention for patients with alcohol or substance use disorders Primary and specialty care training for SBIRT is provided free through the Michigan Center for Clinical Systems Improvement (MICCSI). The virtual training includes an introduction to the SBIRT model and instruction on how to perform screening and assessment, motivational interviewing, brief interventions, referral to treatment, follow-up care and simulation exercises using the model. Additionally, the training is 4 hours long and offers CME credit for physicians, registered nurses and social workers.
