Your state’s drug list shows drugs your SMMC Medicaid plan covers. You can get drugs that are:

Some drugs may have rules. These include:
Age limits
Limits on how much you can get
Limits on how soon you can fill the drug again
Use of the generic or biosimilar version
Trying one drug before another preferred drug
Prior authorization, which means your doctor must ask for approval first
You pay nothing for covered drugs.

How the drug list works
Your state’s drug list contains medicines covered by your Medicaid plan. To see if your drug is covered view your state’s drug list:
You have no cost for drugs covered by the plan
Most long-term drugs can be mail ordered. Approved orders arrive within 10 days.
Outside your service area, drugs are covered for emergencies only.
