Welcome to Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) Eligibility and Enrollment

Whether you can get health care coverage depends on things like how much money you make, how many people live in your home, where you live, your health, and your immigration status. If you qualify for Apple Health, you can choose Molina Healthcare to provide your health benefits

Who may be able to get Apple Health:

• Adults age 19 to 65
• Children
• Parents and caregivers
• Pregnant people
• People who are 65 or older, blind, or have a disability
• People who are 65+ or eligible for Medicare
• Non‑citizens

Apple Health covers many types of services, including:

• Primary care
• Emergency visits
• Maternity services
• Pediatric care
• Dental services
• Vision care
• Prescription medications

What you need to sign up:

• Social security numbers (SSN) for everyone applying
• Birthdates for all household members
• Income information for adults and teens aged 14 and older who must file taxes, such as:
• • Paystubs
  • W-2 forms
  • Wage and tax statements
• Information about your money and property (like bank account balances, stocks, and bonds)
• Immigration information, if that applies to you

Need Behavioral Health support?

If you qualify for Medicaid behavioral health services but cannot enroll in standard Apple Health managed care plan, the state will automatically enroll you in a Behavioral Health Services Only (BHSO) plan. After you are enrolled, you can choose Molina by:

• Logging into the ProviderOne client portal
• Calling Apple Health Customer Service: 1-800-562-3022

Keep your benefits. Renew on time.

You need to renew your Apple Health (Medicaid) benefits every year. Since you are enrolled in Apple Health, the state checks your information each year to make sure you still qualify. When it’s time to renew, it’s important to act quickly.

As your health plan, we want to make sure you’re able to keep getting the care you need, when and where you need it. So, we try to make it easy for you by telling you what you need to know.

How to renew

There are many ways to renew. Choose the one that’s best for you based on your coverage type. It is fastest to apply online.

If you are an Apple Health Medicaid client:

If you are an Apple Health Classic Medicaid client:

• Online: Go to www.waconnection.org. Click “Renew my benefits” on the left side.
