Passport by Molina Healthcare and The Molina Healthcare Charitable Foundation Donate $20,000 to Support Dare to Care’s Prescriptive Pantry Program

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Jan. 21, 2025 – The Molina Healthcare Charitable Foundation (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Passport by Molina Healthcare (“Passport”) presented a grant to Dare to Care Food Bank in support of its Prescriptive Pantry program. The $20,000 donation helps connect healthcare clinics to food insecure families at risk of negative health risks.Dare to Care, serving some of the most populated communities in the state, offers 32 Prescriptive Pantries, where over 30,000 patients are screened for food insecurity and given healthy food options. Kentucky ranks in the top 10 in the country for food insecurity, well above the national average. Food access is a critical determinant of health that impacts the risk of chronic illness and other ailments.
