HAZARD, Ky., March 2, 2025 - Passport by Molina Healthcare (“Passport”) is stepping up its support for victims of the February flooding in eastern Kentucky.  Last week, the health plan, in collaboration with The MolinaCares Accord, donated $50,000 to the Team Kentucky Storm Relief Fund and the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky. As residents continue to recover from the devastating disaster, Passport is offering additional assistance by providing charging stations to the public while also accepting donations for those affected. 

Passport’s One Stop Help Center in Hazard just installed multi-outlet charging stations for phones, laptops and other electronic devices. The center also offers Wi-Fi access, computers, copiers and telehealth rooms for those who may still be without power. The center is located at 124 Grand Vue Plaza. 

Passport is also accepting donations at all five of its centers across Kentucky. A complete list of items including wash cloths, bedding, mops and pet food can be found on the Passport website. 

“Recovering from this natural disaster will take months and years and Passport is here to support flood victims throughout that process,” said Nicole Basham, chief operations officer for Passport by Molina Healthcare. “We encourage Kentuckians across the commonwealth to join us by donating many of the essentials we all take for granted but are desperately needed in this challenging time.”
