EVERETT, Wash. – December 5, 2019 – Molina Healthcare of Washington and The Everett Clinic, part of Optum, finalized an agreement that will allow Molina’s Health Benefit Exchange Marketplace members to receive services at any of The Everett Clinic’s 30 locations, which includes close to 600 specialty and primary care providers. This partnership will go into effect on January 1, 2020, which coincides with the first year that Molina will offer its Marketplace product in Snohomish County, where The Everett Clinic is headquartered. Molina’s rates in Snohomish County are the lowest among all health plans offering Marketplace plans in Washington state.
“We are pleased to announce this partnership with The Everett Clinic and to collaborate in providing more health care services and provider options for our Marketplace members,” said Peter Adler, president at Molina Healthcare of Washington. “This partnership expands patient access to high-quality, affordable health care in our inaugural year in Snohomish County, where The Everett Clinic operates numerous clinic sites.”
Founded in 1924, The Everett Clinic is a nationally recognized physician group known for providing quality health care services while lowering costs. The clinic operates care sites throughout Snohomish and King Counties, caring for more than 330,000 patients and employing about 2,400 teammates.
