Welcome Kentucky Healthcare Providers

Contracted providers are an essential part of delivering quality care to our members. We value your partnership and appreciate the relationship that you pass on to our members.

As our partner, assisting you is one of our highest priorities. We welcome your feedback and look forward to supporting all your efforts to provide access to high quality care.

Kentucky Health Information Exchange (KHIE)

Passport is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of our members and actively supports the statewide implementation of the Kentucky Health Information Exchange (KHIE). KHIE is the secure electronic information infrastructure created by the Commonwealth for sharing health information among health care organizations and offers health care providers the functionality to support meaningful use and a high level of member-centered care.

KHIE is a secure, interoperable network that enables participating providers using certified electronic health record (EHR) technology to locate and exchange member information, resulting in improved coordination of care across physician practices, hospitals, laboratories and health systems.

We encourage you to visit to obtain more information on this program and guidance on how you can make the KHIE connection.
