What’s covered

As a Molina Healthcare member, you get an extra transportation benefit of 30 one-way trips every calendar year. Use the trips to get to your doctor visits and other health resources.

Benefits include:

  • 30 extra one-way rides* each year for visits to:

               o The doctor

               o The dentist

               o The eye doctor

               o Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) appointments

              o Medicaid renewal appointments

              o The pharmacy

              o The food pantry

              o The grocery store

  • Unlimited rides:

               o After you are discharged from the hospital

              o If you must go 30+ miles away to see a provider

              o To and from health visits for children up to 1 year of age

              o To and from visits with your OB/GYN while pregnant and for after-birth checkups

              o To and from dialysis, chemotherapy, or radiation visits

              o If you must use a wheelchair

* A round trip is when you need a ride to and from a location. If you need a round trip, you will use 2 one-way rides.

You get options like:

  • Door-to-door service when needed. Your driver will walk you from your door to the car and to your doctor’s office.
  • Rideshare services like Lyft or Uber
  • Taxi or van services
  • Bus passes
  • Mileage reimbursement

          o You can drive yourself if you do not have a medical condition that keeps you from driving.

          o You may also get mileage reimbursement if someone else can give you a ride.

  • Transportation set up by your provider
