PONTIAC, Mich. April 26, 2021The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Michigan, donated $5,000 to HOPE, Inc. in support of those struggling with homelessness in northern Oakland County.

HOPE’s emergency shelter hosts up to 62 guests each night, providing an evening meal, a shower, a safe place to sleep, and a light breakfast or bag lunch. It also offers guests with hygiene kits, dry socks and underwear. The Recuperative Care Center serves homeless individuals who are discharged from area hospitals and have no place to recover from illness or injury.

“We are grateful for MolinaCares and its generous donation,” said Elizabeth Kelley, executive director of HOPE. “This gift will help provide the kind of comforts that make a stay in our shelter more comfortable.”
