The MolinaCares Accord Donates $10,000 to Central City Integrated Health in Support of Workforce Retention Program

DETROIT, Mich. July 14, 2021 — The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Michigan (“Molina”), donated $10,000 to Central City Integrated Health (CCIH) in support of a workforce retention program created to expand the delivery of quality integrated health care to those in need.
“Central City Integrated Health has a long history of providing high-quality, evidence-based medical and behavioral health treatment and services, in tandem with creating housing, employment and community re-entry opportunities,” said Dr. Kimberly Farrow, president and chief executive officer of CCIH. “Thanks to the generous grant provided by MolinaCares, we will increase employee retention, improve hiring practices and customize ongoing education to provide enhanced delivery health care to our community.”
Funds donated by MolinaCares will be used to help CCIH employees strengthen their skill sets as they transition back to in-person integrated health care services.

CCIH has been serving the residents of Detroit and Wayne County since 1972. Recognized as a Level III Patient-Center Medical Home, the highest level of recognition given by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, CCIH provides quality care to all, regardless of income level or insurance status.
