Molina Healthcare of California Donates $10,000 and Over 5,000 Diapers to Junior League in Support of Inland Empire Families in Need

05/23/2023

RIVERSIDE, Calif., May 22, 2023Molina Healthcare of California (“Molina”) recently donated $10,000, over 5,000 diapers, over 13,000 baby wipes and 600 tubes of diaper rash ointment to Junior League of Riverside (“Junior League”) in support of families in need in the Inland Empire.  Molina also provided 15 volunteers to assist with Junior League’s most recent monthly drive-thru diaper giveaway event.

One in three families experience diaper need, according to Junior League. Licensed daycares do not accept cloth diapers and require parents to provide eight to 10 disposable diapers a day for their children, easily costing $100 per child per month.

“Molina is committed to meeting the needs of those in the communities we serve,” said Abbie Totten, plan president of Molina Healthcare of California. “We are proud to partner with Junior League to provide critical supplies to families in the Inland Empire.”
